Concept of Kinetic Facade
The kinetic facade is also called the wind chime curtain wall. Its principle is simple and its structure is also relatively simple, allowing the wall to flutter in the wind in the air, light, agile, natural and smooth.
Structure of Kinetic Facade

There are not only aluminum kinetic facade but also stainless steel kinetic facade, copper kinetic facade, and PET kinetic facade. Metal materials are the most suitable as the surface of wind chime curtain walls.
(1) Stainless steel glossy material: Stainless steel glossy material is the preferred material for kinetic facade. It has the following advantages and disadvantages:
[Advantages]: Strong and durable, beautiful, anti-fouling, anti-corrosion, and the effect of using it on the outer surface of pneumatic curtain walls is long-lasting and looks new.
[Disadvantages]: Stainless steel has high density and heavy weight; it is expensive.

2) Concave and convex aluminum plate material: unique texture, rich and lasting color, and diversified appearance and shape.
[Advantages]: light and soft, good strength, good corrosion resistance, good processing performance, easy to regenerate, and cost-effective.

[Advantages]: atmospheric, beautiful, energy-saving, easy to maintain.

[Advantages]: good creep resistance, fatigue resistance, abrasion resistance and dimensional stability, low wear and high hardness, low cost, easy installation and low transportation cost.
[Disadvantages]: poor anti-aging ability, poor high temperature resistance, easy to fall off.
PRECAUTIONS
(1) Handover with interior decoration: Be prepared in advance during the handover of drawing design and observe the construction site.
(2) Handover with landscape: Consider the degree of completion of the handover with landscape in advance during the drawing design process.
(3) Handover with floodlighting: The early intervention lighting design must also be considered simultaneously with the curtain wall system design.
(4) Applicable areas: Use with caution in typhoon areas.
